Total Backyard Renovation with Breast Cancer Care WA

In 2021, Breast Cancer Care WA (BCCWA) supported 911 clients. They organised 154 Annual Support Groups and drove 6,977 kilometres in transporting clients. They’re a community organisation, providing on-the-ground support around Western Australia to clients with breast cancer, and their families.

When BCCWA came to us with a bike storage problem from one of their clients, we immediately wanted to help. They were embarking on an entire backyard renovation, and needed easy storage for the children's bikes.
Our mission is to help make our customers lives easy. We do this through our space saving, easy-to-use bike storage, and by supporting organisations like BCCWA, who are doing the same thing for their clients. Check out the results of their backyard build below!
Before
Backyard in the middle of renovations. Entire backyard is dirt, except for a concrete square in the middle.

After
Refurbished backyard with a large square of green grass, and bike pump track running around the entire yard.
Complete with a pump track for the bike-obsessed kids of BCCWA's client, this was such a great project to be involved in.
BCCWA do not receive government funding, which is why support from local organisations and businesses is so critical to the continuation of their services to breast cancer clients. It is estimated that 53 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia every single day. The services BCCWA provide to their clients are free of charge and are made possible by their dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

We were honoured to have been part of such an incredible backyard transformation, for such a deserving client. To read more about the work that BCCWA does for the community, head to their website here.
