We Ride … for change

Steadyrack’s Founder and CEO, David Steadman, is celebrating the company’s 10^th year in a really big way. He’s just accepted a role with National Bike Advocacy group, We Ride Australia and he will now be a Director with the independent, not-for-profit charitable foundation. As an independent voice in Australia, We Ride aims to:

• Secure the policies, infrastructure and programs to ensure cycling contributes to healthy, safe and enjoyable mobility for all.
• Build the case for investment in infrastructure.
• Disseminate evidence and data to support the role of cycling in community and national agendas.
• Present the positive, healthy and safe reality of daily cycling across the country by children, adults and seniors from all walks of life.

They achieve their objectives by raising awareness of the multiple benefits of cycling for individuals, communities, businesses and Government. They also advocate for Australian policies and investments to create more cycle friendly communities. The activities used to achieve our objectives are built around their four pillars:

• Infrastructure
• Health
• Safety
• An Independent Voice

David will work closely with their national network of allies and like-minded peak industry organisations, to effectively to be able to say ‘We Ride!’ more often, more effectively to more decision makers than ever before.
